This hummingbird rain gauge is absolutely stunning and sure to add a touch of elegance to any yard or garden. What a beautiful way to measure Mother Nature's rainfall. It depicts the lifelike of a hummingbird feeding off of a flower in such an artistic way. The hummingbird rain gauge is created from stainless steel flatware, stainless steel ball bearings and stainless steel rods to help withstand the test of time. The center of the flowers are colored glass stones. It also comes with two glass rain gauges. The rain gauge stake is threaded and can be tightly screwed into the base of the flowers. The approximate dimensions of this piece are front to back 6 1/2 inches, side to side 10 1/2 inches and overall height 4 feet 10 inches. Stone color options are:Green Iridescent, Yellow, Teal, Blue, Red. Due to the size and weight we only sell this piece at shows, festivals or locally.
Care Instructions
The stainless steel flatware will stay silver but if you like it can be cleaned with a stainless steel cleaner of any kind. The piece might get some discoloration areas where I have welded pieces together and it may not.
Tech Info
The flatware is 18/0 stainless steel with 308 stainless steel rods. Although it is made with stainless steel it might be accessible to some rust from the atmospheric conditions over time in the welded areas. Even though every piece is similar I individually tig weld, buff and polish each creative design.
